How long have you been taking wedding pictures?

We shot our first wedding for friends in October 1988.

What camera equipment do you use?

Midrange Canon D-SLR cameras. We use our old 10D with a Lensbabies lens for fun. The 20D, 30D and 40D are used with a variety of different lenses for different effects.

What lighting equipment do you use?

We use natural light as much as possible to achieve our style of Naturally Created photographs. In order to make exposures that do not need special printing by the lab or excessive work in Photoshop, we will sometimes modify daylight using reflectors, diffusion screens and other lighting control equipment. When shooting indoor portraits we use commercial studio lighting with more lighting control equipment to maintain our Naturally Created style.

When can we see the proofs?

Proofs are generally ready two to three weeks after the wedding. When they are ready we will contact you to arrange for a consultation. We will go over the proofs with you, discuss things to consider when planning your album, then leave you with the CD of all your proofs. We'll set up a time to meet you a week or two later, then design the album with you.

Why are your services arranged in plans rather than a'la carte?

We want our clients to know ahead of time what they get with each of their plans. Couples are often surprised to find that their a'la carte plan does not include the pictures or albums they had envisioned. While all of our plans have the flexibility to design an album containing as many photographs as you decide, you know before the wedding that there won't be any surprises when you design your album.

How much of a deposit do you require to reserve a date?
